The Waterbury Promise Scholarship helps eliminate financial barriers, strengthens the college going culture in Waterbury Public Schools, and provides essential support to ensure college success.
Beginning with the class of 2025 Promise Scholars will receive up to $20,000 in financial support to attend any Connecticut based college or university as a last dollar scholarship after all other financial aid has been applied. Scholars graduating before 2025 will receive the following scholarship awards: Class of 2022: Awarded up to $1,250 per student per year of college. Class of 2023: Awarded up to $2,500 per student per year of college. Class of 2024: Awarded up to $3,750 per student per year of college. Class of 2025 and beyond: Awarded up to $5,000 per student per year of college. Our high school staff partners with our students to strengthen the college-going culture and become an incentive to our Waterbury students and families. |
